The new student center at Saint Michael’s College, scheduled for completion this summer, is part of the $30 million Quad Commons project, built by PC Construction, an AGC of Vermont member. The Quad Commons consists of a 40,000-sq-ft multifunctional student center and a 43,000-sq-ft residence hall. Existing residence halls will be connected via enclosed walkways.
A 16-ft-long construction beam, which folks are invited to sign, will become part of the new student center. The signatures on the beam will serve as a “time vault” in the building situated in the middle of the Colchester, Vt. campus.
